barista  n. def. -  a person who makes or serves coffee/espresso to the public.

There are so many stories about regulars, about work and about life that would benefit people from any walk of life.

We want those stories for our new book, Baristas, Not Your Regular Grind.

Baristas are not the stereotypical "fast food drone." Their focus isn't to just quickly serve a product. Their focus is to prepare an amazing "personalized" creation and serve it to a fellow human being.

There is real value in making that human connection. They work hard to create a place beyond home and work that becomes familiar and comfortable for the regular and occasional customer. 
 
These rich connections are amazing stories that reveal some of life's most valuable lessons.

They are stories from and about ordinary baristas that convey the high-quality, full-bodied, extraordinary experiences that happen everyday in coffee houses around the world.
